Aiken Tech Early College Program
Aiken Early College is Aiken Technical College’s dual enrollment program. It is designed to allow qualified and highly motivated Aiken County, private or home-schooled high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school by taking either general studies classes, or enrolling in the Pre-Engineering or General Education Pathway. Students can earn both high school and college credit (dual credit) or just college credit (concurrent).

Aiken Early College students can enroll in many general education courses that are required for, and transfer to, many majors at many four-year colleges and universities. In addition, these transferable courses at ATC cost much less than most other colleges and universities in the CSRA.

Aiken Early College students are exposed to a variety of majors within their chosen field, thus giving them a head-start on finding the specialty they wish to pursue in a college major.
All Aiken Early College applicants (General college classes and Academies) will need to meet the following minimum criteria:

  • PSAT scores of at least 50/50 OR
  • ACT combined of at least 21 OR
  • SAT scores of at least 500/500
